At the other L.O.S.T. board a fellow asked about the Turbo Timer installation on the CRD.

Has anyone looked installing this item?

Locating the wiring diagram for the CRD should not be a big issue.

You can program the number of minutes needed for cooldown.

Thanks

TP

I've looked into it a little bit. Some of the trucks already have a plugin in the harness for the timer, including the hand brake switch. I haven't looked yet to see if the same setup is in our harness. You buy the unit, the adaptor pigtail that matches your application, and just plug it in. Haven't seen this setup for the Jeeps anywhere yet, so it may have to be spliced in.

sp1,

I emailed Greedy about their timer on the 11th.

No one has replied to my question about the Jeep CRD.

I am guessing someone with patience and a test light could hook it up.

I posted this question on another board and the reply i received said for the driver to not use the boost w/i the last 5 minutes of drive time :?

Well, I would still like to have one. Waiting 30 seconds or a minute or 2 is still a pain.

Thanks,

Tom

The wireing on the CRD is very simple. I had made my own remote starter the installation was very easy. I have the 05 service manual to help out anyone that needs it.

Downloaded the Instructions and it seems straight forward.

I am not brave enough to be the first. If someone does install please let us in on any quirks encountered. Thanks Don
